We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a leading supplier of timber products and one of the UKs biggest sawmills whos portfolio includes construction timber, fencing and landscaping products and pallet and packaging material.
Purpose of the Job
As part of the Maintenance team the Electrical Maintenance Technician will assist in fault diagnosis and repair activities on key technical process equipment and provide support to production teams on technical process equipment as required. They will work closely with all staff in each area to ensure the smooth running of core business plant, optimising the productivity of machinery, equipment, proactively working to eliminate plant downtime and make improvements to the processes and ensuring the site and facility infrastructure is tested and maintained in accordance with current legislation.
Hours of Work
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun - 7am to 7pm
Week 2: Wed & Thurs - 7am to 7pm
Week 3: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun - 7pm to 7am
Week 4: Wed & Thurs - 7pm to 7am
30% night shift allowance
